Spine surgery
Dr. Moisés Suárez graduated in Medicine from the University of Oviedo in 2015, and later specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology via MIR at the Bellvitge University Hospital in Barcelona, where since the last year of residency he was an active part of the Spine Surgery service.
In 2020, he completed an observership at the Bordeaux University Hospital Complex, a leading center for complex spine surgery in France.
He is currently an associate physician in the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Service of the Bellvitge University Hospital and is also a member of the Spine Functional Unit.
Dr. Suárez is part of the Spanish Society of Spine Surgery (GEER) and the Spanish and Catalan Traumatology Societies. It is also part of international companies such as Eurospine and AOSpine.
During his years of experience he has focused on traumatic spinal pathology, degenerative surgery, adult deformity and revision surgery. He is familiar with minimally invasive techniques, anterior spinal approaches, and intraoperative navigation.
Currently, the doctor carries out his activity in the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Service of the Quirónsalud Barcelona Hospital (Barcelona Spine Institute – BSI) together with the spine unit service at the Bellvitge University Hospital.
