Dr. Luis Vila

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, a center attached to the University of Barcelona. He began his MIR training in 2021 in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital (Autonomous University of Barcelona).

He is a member of the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT) and the Catalan Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SCCOT). He participates in numerous research projects attached to the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR).

He has presented several communications at national and international congresses including the annual congress of the Spanish Spine Society (GEER), the European Spine Society EUROSPINE, the European Neurosurgical Society EANS and the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SECOT).

Areas of expertise

Disc herniation, low back pain, canal stenosis, spondylolisthesis and spinal deformity.
