Spine surgery

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the American University of Managua (Nicaragua), he spent a year as a Senior Clerkship in Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology, Cardiology and Ophthalmology in Paediatrics at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans (USA).

In 2013 he completed his specialisation in Physical Education and Sports Medicine at the University of Barcelona and carried out his internship at FC Barcelona and Imesport.

He currently combines his healthcare activity at the Spine Unit of the Hospital Quirónsalud Barcelona (Barcelona Spine Institute – BSI) with that of the Real Club Deportivo Español, as well as with participation and attendance at congresses and continued education.

Areas of expertise

Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and spine and spine pathology; functional assessment and analysis of medical performance and aptitude by means of medical-sports examinations.
